Bearden - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 8, 1985 Services for William E. Bearden, 83, were at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Glen Alexander officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Bearden died Sunday at Vicksburg Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a short illness. He was a native of Union Church, Miss., and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 38 years. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ of Tallulah. Survivors include one son, William W. Bearden of Delhi; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Burris of Gurdon, Ark., and Mrs. Emma Keyes of Tallulah; one brother, Elmer W. Bearden of Natchez, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Nanny Anders of Natchez, Miss.; 25 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons.
