All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Alline Watts Baxter - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 15, 1980 Services for Alline Watts Baxter were held Sunday at First Presbyterian church in Tallulah with the Rev. G. Preston officiating. Burial was at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Monroe. Mrs. Baxter died Friday in her home after a brief illness. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is the widow of Ira Baxter, an attorney in Tallulah. She is survived by a daughter, Frances Alline Mitchell of Xxxx, two brothers, J. B. Watts and Henry Ray Watts of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. J im P. Parker of Monroe, Mrs. W. C. King of Monroe, Mrs. James Nolan of Vienna, La., and Mrs. James C. Gallian of Natchitoches. Pallbearers were Edgar H. Lancaster, Jr., Henry C. Sevier, Jr., Barton Sevier, Jim Sevier, Harry W. Placke, Judge Cliff Adams, Michael Lancaster, John T. Seale and Donald B. Lancaster. Honorary pallbearers were Warren L. Parker, Neal Gallian, Mark Watts, Paul Nolan and Lane King. The family requests that all memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Monroe or the Presbyterian Church of Tallulah.
