All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sarah Viola Ball - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 31, 1975 Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Viola Ball of Tallulah were held at 4 p.m. ----day at the Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. Ned Stout officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Tallulah. Mrs. Ball died Tuesday in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. She was a native of Green County, and had lived in Tallulah for 40 years and was a member of the Tallulah Metrhodist Church. Survivors include three sons, W. M. D. Ball of Vidalia, Henry N. Ball and Joe C. Ball, both of Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. C. E. Powell of Tallulah, Mrs. A. F. McLendon of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Mary Roden of Jonesboro and Mrs. Dolores Turnage of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, Willis Hillman of Mobile, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Dobson of Jackson, Miss.; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were Charles Powell Jr., Lane Wilson, David Smith, Frankie McLendon, Huey McLendon and Murphy Galloway.
