Ball - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 19, 1995 Services for Mr. Joe C. Ball, 78, of West Monroe were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 1995, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Ball died Tuesday, July 18, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Mr. Ball was a native of Leaksville, Miss., and had been a resident of Tallulah for 60 years. He was a retired millwright and saw filer for the Chicago Mill Company in Tallulah. Mr. Ball had lived in West Monroe for the past year. He attended the Methodist faith. Survivors include his wife, Helen C. Ball of West Monroe; six daughters, Rita Kirkland of Euless, Texas, Elizabeth Smith of West Monroe, Sara Wilson of Tallulah, Mary Jo Tarver of West Monroe, Cora Estep of Dallas, Texas, and, Rhonda Ratcliff of West Monroe; three sisters, Angie Powell of Baton Rouge, Jettie McClendon of Mobile, Ala., and Delores Turnage of Hisperia, Calif.; two brothers, W. Drew Ball of Vidalia and Henry Newton Ball of Amory, Miss.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Jeff Wilson, Terrence Tarver, Carey Tarver, Chris Wattigny, Murphy Gallaway, Edward Powell, Frankie McClendon and Huey McClendon.
