All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Fred Baker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 8, 1970 Final Rites Held For Fred Baker Funeral services for Fred Baker, 73, of Tallulah, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clark Bell officiating. Burial took place in Providence Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Baker, a native of Atkins, Ark., died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack at his home on Thursday. He was a retired farmer and cattleman and a member of the Baptist Church. He had lived in Madison Parish for 27 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Noma Baker of Tallulah, one daughter, Mrs. Clement Dahlhauser of Tallulah; one brother, Frank Baker of Batchelor: two sisters; Mrs. Scott Nelson of Little Rock, Ark. and Mrs. Floyd Mason of Carlsbad, N. M.; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Arneson, LaRue Harmon, Lucian Roy, Leonard Neumann, Elmer Neill and Bill Loftin.
