All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ervin Baker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 24, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. Ervin Baker, 75, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Connors officiating. Burial was in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Mr. Baker died Sunday at Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. He was a native of Plainview, Ark., a resident of Tallulah for the past 25 years and a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Baker of Tallulah; six sons, Burley Baker of Ab-beville, Wayne Baker of Keithville, Billy Baker of Strong. Ark., Tommy Baker, David Baker and Terry Baker, all of Tallulah; three daughters, Shirley McNamara of Marshall, Tx., Betty Westmoreland of Tallulah and Linda Palmieri of Thibodaux; two brothers, Clarence Baker of Jonesboro and Ted Baker of Bastrop; one sister, Myrtle Johnese of Ferriday ; and 15 grandchildren. Nephews served as pallbearers.
