Arneson died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 92. Mr. Arneson was born in Joyce, Iowa, and had lived in Tallulah for 68 years. He was a retired farmer, aircraft mechanic and crop duster. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tallulah, OX5 Aviation Pioneers and the Barak Shriners of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Doris E. Arneson. Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Arneson and Charles “Gary” Arneson, both of Tallulah; and four granddaughters. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Revs. Jean Foreman and Ferre D'Cruz officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or St. Edward's Catholic Church.
