All rights reserved. ************************************************ Burnette Thelma Arneson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post April 4, 2002 TALLULAH - Burnette Thelma Arneson died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center. She was 84. Mrs. Arneson was born in Joice, Iowa. She received a degree in textiles and clothing from Iowa State College in 1939. She was employed by the USDA Extension Service, where she composed sewing publications. She modeled for Marshall Fields in Chicago and also worked as a fashion designer for movie stars in Hollywood, Calif. She retired to Tallulah in 1978. Mrs. Arneson was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence O. Arneson and ertina B. Arneson, and a brother, Stanley Arneson. She is survived by a brother, Charles O. Arneson of Monroe, La.; two nephews, Gary Arneson and Robert Arneson, both of Tallulah; and cousins, friends and other relatives, including Alice Gaumnitz and Arlice Morris, both of Tallulah, and Mavis Bledsoe of Colorado. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Fulton officiating.
