All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Stanwood Alnut - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 16, 1943 Stanwood Alnut, Former Resident, Dies Saturday Stanwood Alnut, native of Madison pariah and recently a resident of Crossett, Ark., died Saturday morning in Monroe. Born August 13, 1878, at Bayou Vidal in Madison parish, Mr. Alnut had been a salesman in Arkansas for a number of years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:00 at Silver Cross cemetery with the Rev. H. N. Alexander of the Presbyterian church officiating. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bessie Alnut Cason, a half brother, W. B. Eisely, both of Tallulah, and six nieces and a nephew.
