Allen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 15, 1982 Services for Robert H. Allen, 53, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Crothers Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Joseph Jordan and Xxxx Xxery officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Allen died Sunday. He was a native of Patterson and a resident of Tallulah last 36 years. He was a commercial fisherman, owner and operator of West End Fish Market of Tallulah and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Linny Whitley Allen of Tallulah; three sons, Richard Dean Allen of Conroe, Texas, Robert Earl Allen of Houston and William Albert Allen of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Lau of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Marion Long of Horsham, Penn.; a brother, William L. Allen of San Antonio, Texas; and seven granddaughters. Pallbearers were Chris Coody, Ronnie Stampley, Bobby Mosley, David Jones, Roy Whittaker, Johnny Littlejohn, Johnny Rogers and Mike Christ, Jr.
