All rights reserved. ************************************************ Lennie Redwine Allen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 23, 2001 TALLULAH - Lennie Redwine Allen died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, in the Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 89. Mrs. Allen was born in Rover, Arkansas and had lived in Tensas Parish since 1929. She was a retired businessman and farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Newellton. Mrs. Allen is survived by a son, James F. Allen of Ruston; a daughter, Martha Pipes of St. Joseph; two sisters, Tressie Bates of Prairieville, La. and Bonnie Hollis of West Monroe; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Fulton McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Visitation will be from 12 until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rollie Allen Jr., Allen Lansing, Bill Lansing Jr., Greg Gregory, John Floyd Taylor, John S. May and Emmett Gibbs.
