All rights reserved. ************************************************ Linny Mae Whitley Allen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post November 21, 2002 TALLULAH - Linny Mae Whitley Allen died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 65. Mrs. Allen was a lifelong resident of Tallulah and a retired, longtime employee of A.P.I. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Allen; and her parents, Albert and Annie Whitley. She is survived by one daughter, Ann O'Neal of Slaughter, La.; three sons, William A. Allen of Tallulah, and Richard Dean Allen and Robert Allen, both of Houston, Texas; two brothers, A.J. Whitley of Tallulah and Cecil Whitley of Mangham, La.; six sisters, Tinny Mosley, Ann Coody, Betty Price, Gainelle Brewer and Ruby Freeman, all of Tallulah, and Norma Stanley of Houma, La.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Chapel in Tallulah with Pastors John Rushing and Joe Hammack officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ron Stampley, Jeremy Mosley, Jessie Brewer Jr., Michael Freeman, Steve Whitley, Robert Bamburg, Calvin Johnston and Nathan Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Mosley, David Jones, Chris Coody, Joey Freeman and Mike Price Jr.
