All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Fannie Allen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 22, 1977 Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Allen, 75, of Tallulah, were at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with Rev. Frank Shields officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery for Mrs. Allen who died Wednesday morning in St. Francis Medical Center at Monroe after a lengthy illness. A native of Rayville, Mrs. Allen had resided in Tallulah for 50 years. Survivors include her husband, Charles Allen of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Eunice Wood of Delhi, Mrs. Nell Mills of Smyrna, Tenn. and Mrs. Willie Mae Moore of Shreveport; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Pete King, Ross Murphy, Beacher Lowery, Leroy Chambless, Sam Scurria and Bill Sanders.
