Alexander - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 10, 1972 L. Alexander rites held Lloyd C. Alexander, 53, died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson, Miss. after a long illness. A native of Leachville, Ark., he had lived in Tallulah since childhood. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the American Legion, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Masonic Lodge No. 308, Royal Arch Masons, chapter 67 and of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Osborne Alexander: two sons. Samuel Alexander of Blacksburg, Va. and Ronald Alexander of Tallulah: one daughter, Mrs. Pamela Nunnery of Blytheville, Ark. and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. from Crothers Funeral Chapel with Rev. Crawford Williams officiating and burial in Providence Memorial Cemetery followed with Masonic rites at the cemetery.
