Aiken - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal April 25, 1941 Former Parishoner, Charles C. Aiken, Dies In Arkansas Charles Criegh Aiken, 88, former Madison Parish planter, a native of Wythe County, Va., died at the home of his niece, Mrs. Guy A. Simmons in Conway, Ark. this week. Mr. Aiken, who was never married, has been a resident of Conway for five years. He is survived by another niece, Mrs. James Chandler of Vicksburg and a nephew, James Aiken of Jonesboro, Tenn. He was buried in Oak Grove cemetery in Conway. Active pallbearers were V. D. Hill, Paul P. Faris, T. O. King, Dr. M. J. McHenry, D. N. E. Fraser and David Conyers.
