All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Rowena Holmes Adams - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, July 9, 2007 TALLULAH - Rowena Holmes Adams died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center. She was 89. Mrs. Adams had lived in Tallulah most of her life. She was a member of the former Home Demonstration and Garden Club, Historical Society and Grayson Baptist Church. She was a Hermoine Museum volunteer. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl Adams. She is survived by three sons, Lawson James Adams of Greenwood, Ark., Marlin Holmes Adams of Raymore, Mo., and Glynn Earl Adams of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Linda Sue Doden of DeBeque, Colo.; one sister, Cleora Cassels of Rosefield, La.; and 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
