All rights reserved. ************************************************ Salo Abrahm Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post September 5, 2003 TALLULAH — Salo Abrahm Jr. died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 80. A New Orleans native, Mr. Abrahm had been a longtime resident of Madison Parish. He owned and operated Montrose Oil Co. in Tallulah and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Kathan Abrahm. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Lee Dearman of Hattiesburg; two nephews, Charles Ladd Abrahm of Tallulah and William E. Abrahm of Ruston, La.; a niece, Linda Smothermon of Bossier City; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Bill Echols officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Spencer Sevier, Joe K. Scott, Glenn Guimbelott, Jackie Varner, Dalton Fortenberry and Stuart Moberley. Honorary pallbearers will be Edgar Lancaster Jr., Jack Folk, Warren Patrick and Walter Scott.
