Jinnie Geneva Aaron

Born in Hope, Arkansas on Dec. 18, 1920
Departed on Mar. 27, 2013 and resided in Lake Providence, LA.

Funeral services for Jinnie Geneva Aaron, age 92, of Lake Providence, Louisiana will be 2PM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Elmwood Baptist Church, Elmwood Community near Lake Providence with Rev. J. D. Favors officiating. Interment will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery at Tallulah, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10AM until service time at the church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Calvin Aaron; sons, Billy David Aaron, Thomas Aaron, Kenneth Wayne Aaron; step-son, Willie "Nick" Aaron Jr.; parents, Tom and Ollie Welch; sisters, Willie Mae Davis and Maybell michelle.

Jinnie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Teddy Roy Aaron and Betty Aaron of Lufkin, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Lynn Dale Aaron and Connie Aaron of Lake Providence, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Calvin Aaron and Lou Aaron of Lake Charles, Louisiana; daughter, Janice Youvone Eldridge of Covington, Louisiana; step-daughter, Mae Sanders of Texarkana, Texas; sister, Ruth McClellan of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; daughters-in-law, Nancy Sue Aaron of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Civle Aaron of Arkansas; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers will be Teddy Aaron, Lynn Dale Aaron, Charles Aaron, Charles Tate, Randy Aaron, Greg Hayes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Lowery, Leroy Travis, Fuzz Johnson, W. L. Payne.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Elmwood Baptist Church/J.D. Favors at 8216 Hwy 2, Oak Grove, LA 71263
