Funeral services will be held at a 10 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 27,
2001, at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for
Margaret "Maggie" McKinney Cantor,
49, who died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, March
23, at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie.
The Rev John DeLeeuw, retired, will be celebrant
of the Mass and will conduct the funeral
services.
Interment will take place in Broussard Cemetery
on Vincent Road in Lafayette.
Mrs. Cantor was a native of Lafayette, the
daughter of the late Kossuth Vincent Sr.
and the former Rachel Annie McKinney. She
had been a resident of Metairie for the past
22 years, where she was a member of the Louisiana
600 Bowling Club, WIBC Bowling League and
Harahan Mixed Bowling Team.
Survivors include her husband, Monroe E.
Cantor of Metairie; one daughter, Hope L.
Cantor of Metairie; one stepson and wife,
Gerald and Adrianne Cantor of Austin, Texas;
three sisters, Vickie V. Letterman of Shreveport,
Brenda V. Beadle of Lafayette and Mona V.
Selman of Marrero; four brothers, Robert
J. McKinney of Kenner, Kossuth Vincent Jr.
of Harahan, Alfred J. Vincent of River Ridge
and Vince J. Vincent of Bridge City; and
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
and one sister, Mona L. Vincent.
Pallbearers will be Robert J. McKinney, Kossuth
Vincent Jr., Alfred J. Vincent, Vince J.
Vincent, Chris Abel and Allan Letterman.
A rosary will be led by the Rev. John DeLeeuw
at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family has requested that visitation
be observed from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday
and from 8 a.m. to service time Tuesday.
The Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand
Drive, are funeral directors in charge of
the arrangements.
