Funeral services will be held at a 10 a.m. Mass Thursday at St. Alphonsus Church in Maurice for Philibert Broussard, 94, who died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday at Abrom Kaplan Hospital in Kaplan.

The Rev. Martin Leonards, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be a Broussard Family Cemetery in Milton.

He was a Lafayette Parish native, the son of the late John Teon Broussard and the former Carmelite Broussard.

Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie Bourgeouis of Maurice, Gladys Theriot of Lafayette, and Eunice Broussard and Zula Broussard of Milton, Louis H. Broussard of Broussard and Alton J. Broussard of Maurice; two sisters, Mrs. Pierre Landry of Milton and Eulalie LeBlanc of Maurice; 35 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was perceded in death by his wife, Eva M. Broussard.

a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.Wednesday.

Visiting hours will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 7 a.m. to service time Thursday.
