Joseph Otto Segura was born 24 Apr 1887 in Abbeville, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana the third child of Odra Emmanuel Segura and Emethilde Broussard. He married Mable Weston the daughter of Horatio Stephen Weston and Elizabeth A. Wall on 17 Mar 1910 in the Jesuit Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. They had two children -- Horatio Weston Segura married Jane Ann Brown Nadeau and Dorothy Heloise Segura married Alexandre Thomas Nadeau, Jr.
