They had six children -- Elvy Clarence Byrd married Elsie May Edington, Claude Russell Byrd married Bessie Ruby Strawn, Osie Mae Byrd, John Mitchell Byrd married Susie Jane Mason, Opal Vetta Byrd, and Harvey Cecil Byrd married Mabel Posey.
