I can not find anything on their marriage date, the date his wife died, and what happened to the child. His name is George Frederick Behrnes. Their children were:SARAH BROWN who married William Tucker; WILLIAM BROWN who married Mary Joseph Daigle; RICHARD BROWN who married Sarah White; THOMAS J. BROWN who married Mary Hays [my line]; JANE BROWN who married James Brown; TERRY B.BROWN who married Susan Lisenbe;JOSEPH BROWN, RACHEL BROWN who married John Milieau;and MOSES BROWN who married Mary Brown. All of the above were listed in Iberville Parish probate #577 of JANE BRIDGES BROWN dated 9 Feb.1837. I would like to get in touch with anyone working on this family. I can't find my great-great grandmother or father , who were both married in the St. John church . My GGGrandmother and her child died of yellow fever in Aug. or Sept. 1878. They were buried here but there are no records to be found. Can you help? Any ideas for me? Her name was Letisha Hyde Foote his name was Andrew Foote and the child was about a year old when she died. Henry Kevlin was born November 01, 1835 in Plaquemine, La. His daughter Amelia Kevlin was born in 1861. Henry's wife is Isadora Ross Kevlin. I don't know much more about them. Could you please tell me if there is in existence a book containing the cemetery inscriptions of Iberville Parish? If so, where might I locate a copy. I have just recently learned of a relative buried in a cemetery at Crescent, La.: Rosa Lee Parnell Ferguson who d. 19 Dec. 1930.
