INTRODUCTION

This is a pictorial history of the town of Saline in Bienville Parish, La, from its beginning in 1904 until 1945. Most of the photographs were  collected by Mrs. J.O. Evans during Mr. Evans' 40 years as Mayor of Saline. The old negatives and prints were copied and restored by Gayle Strickland and scanned by Bruce Evans.
