Oct. 13, 1886 from the Hazel Green Herald A child of Weed Hall, living on Lacy Creek, died of flux one day last week. T. F. Walters, of Caney, who had the second spell of flux, is now convalescing. Eddie, little son of F. N. Day and wife, of this place has fever and is very sick. Sam Kash, a brilliant young lawyer of Mt. Sterling, passed through here on last Friday. Mrs. J. G. Trimble, of Mt. Sterling, is visiting her daughter, Mr. J. Taylor Day and other relatives at this place. S. D. Howerton, a brother of John of the Hazel Green Mill Co., was her Monday. he lives at White Oak , in Morgan. WOLFE COUNTY Campton, Oct. 8 - Died on the 2nd inst., Laura Tutt, who had been a sufferer for three years. Nancy Ward, of Blackwater, Fannie Hainline of Lamont Mo., and Louisa Hogg, of this place are vistiting relatives at this place and in Stillwater. They are sisters and their maiden names being Rose. Their ages are Nancy Ward 73, Fannie Hainline 64 and Louisa Hogg 60. Died on the 6th inst., Henry Combs, of Breathitt County, father of Alfred and S. S. Combs, of flux. Died - On the 3rd inst., a little child of Emma Steele's, of whooping cough. J. C. Lykins will start to the Morgan Circuit Court next Sunday. Lane - Oct. 6, Married - On Friday, Sept. 24, at the residence of the bride's father, Charley Byrd, Zadoc Miller to Miss Cynthia Byrd. A. C. Byrd officiating.
