Age: 87 Passed Away: 2010-01-29 Funeral Home: Porter & Son Funeral Home Ralph Lee Lovelace, 87, of Bowling Green, died at 8:05 a.m. Jan. 29, 2010, at his home. The Campton native was born May 9, 1922. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Campton for 60 years. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a son of the late Mountie Lovelace and Bertha Center Lovelace. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Allene Hollon Lovelace. Funeral is at 2 p.m. today at Porter & Son Funeral Home in Campton, with burial in Evans Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Local arrangements were handled by J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.
