Johnson was called home to be with his Lord on Thu, July 28, 2011. He was born March 20, 1937 in Stanton, KY to the late Charles C. Johnson and Mabel Bryant Johnson. He was an accomplished salesman and former business owner of a Pepperidge Farm Dist. and a Dairy Queen restaurant. He was a beloved member and Deacon of Living Stones Christian Center. Survivors include, Charles C. Johnson III, Karen (Phillip) Shearer, Gene Gray, Debra (Issac) Smith, Brenda Whitt, Lisa (Steve) Canoy, Jim (Trina) Gray. His grandchildren include, Benjamin, Tandy, and Andrea Shearer, Brittany, Joshua, and Seth Canoy, Macy Gray, Trae Carr, Daniel Halliburton, Michelle, Timothy, and Mike (deceased) Puckett, and nine great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be grandchildren. Services are to be held 2:30pm Mon at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home- Harrodsburg Rd. by Reverends Jim Gray and Steve Canoy. Visitation will be Sun from 5-8pm and Mon from 12-2:30pm at the funeral home. "We want to thank all those that helped in care and their prayers during this time. Bless you".
