OBITUARY: Creech, Lamech - Sunday, July 17, 2011 Published in Lexington Herald-Leader on July 18, 2011 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************* CREECH Lamech, 93, widower of Carmie Lane Creech, passed away Sun, July 17, 2011 at his home. Born in Valeria, KY, he was the son of the late Adam and Lou Eva Centers Creech. A U.S. Army veteran, Lamech was a retired farmer and former minister at Clear Branch Primitive Baptist Church in Nada, KY. He is survived by; six children, Jonahs (Sonnie) Creech of Lexington, Marie Creech of Nicholasville, Joseph (Trudy) Creech of Lexington, Lora Kathaline (Frazier) Florence of Lexington, Lamech (Joann) Creech, Jr. of Springfield and Martha Jean Coffey of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Beulah Creech of Irvine. Funeral services will be 2:30pm Wed at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Visitation will be 5-9pm Tue at the funeral home. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
