OBITUARY: Spencer, Evedna Loriane (Dalton) - Monday, May 23, 2011 Published in The Middletown Journal on May 25, 2011 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************* SPENCER, Evedna Loriane age 74 of Springboro, OH; went to be with the Lord and was reunited with her husband and best friend, Bill on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Hillspring Nursing Home. Evedna was born in Wolfe County, KY on December 22, 1936 to Courtney and Anna Dalton. She retired from Jonathan Wright Elementary School after many years of service and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and was actively involved with Camp Chautauqua. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband William Edward Spencer in 2008; and a brother, Kendall Dalton. Evedna is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon Lynn Tinch and husband James R. of Springboro and Susan Louise Blair and husband Rick E. of Franklin; 5 grandchildren, James R. Tinch II and wife Rachel, William Matthew Tinch and wife Janelle, Rickey E. Blair II and wife Cassie, Daniel Christopher Blair and wife Jennifer, and Chelsea Marie Blair; two brothers, Ernie Dalton and wife Judith of Carlisle and Billy Jean Dalton of Hillsboro. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Mattelyn Elizabeth Tinch, Jozzelynn Joelle Tinch, Spencer Edward Blair, and Zacariah James Tinch and numerous family and friends. A special thanks to Hillspring Nursing Home and all the staff for their love and care. Funeral services are Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Roger Green and Rev. Jerry Harmeyer officiating at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 N. Union Rd., Middletown, OH. Visitation will be Thursday from 11-1 at the church. Burial will be in Grace Memorial Gardens.
