OBITUARY: Runyan, Bonita L. (Combs) - Monday, November 29, 2004 Submitted by: Carter Combs ********************************************************************* Bonetta L. Combs Runyan, 63, of West Jefferson died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at her residence with her family at her side. She graduated from Union Local High School in 1958 and retired from General Motors in 1993 after 28 years of service. She was born Jan. 28, 1941, in Stanton, Ky., and is survived by her parents, Audrey and Elmer Combs of Rosedale; her loving husband, Carl, whom she married May 28, 1959; a daughter, Carla (Larry L.) Stover of West Jefferson; a son, Carl Runyan Jr. of West Jefferson; granddaughters, Paige and Jocelyn Stover and Stephanie Runyan of West Jefferson; a grandson, Zachary Carl Runyan of Westerville; two sisters, Phyllis (Leonard) Daum of Milford Center and Monell (Ron) Dooley of Rosedale; two brothers, Elmer Gene (Chrystal) Combs of Milford Center and Bill (Betty) Combs of Marysville; three aunts, Jean (John) Fasang of Winchester, Ky., Rosetta Lencke of Panama City, Fla., and Dorothy Combs of Marysville; an uncle, James (Bobbie) Combs of Milford Center; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rader-McDonald Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson. The Rev. Jerry Newman will officiate and burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in West Jefferson. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Note: Elmer was the s/o Samuel Porter Combs and America McAlister.
