She was born August 7, 1942 in Wolfe Co., KY to Joe & Thelma (Tackett) Lacefield. She attended Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed dancing, camping and bingo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Haddix; her parents; daughter, Amy Jo Lacefield and two grandchildren, Erin and Joshua Davis. Mary Jo is survived by her children, Dedra (Scott) Davis of Miamisburg, OH; Craig (Kim) Haddix of Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Seth Davis, Paige and Samantha Haddix; brother, Phillip (Jennifer) Lacefield of Middletown, OH. Visitation will be Monday, October, 18, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, Middletown, OH. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Wood officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, OH 45005.
