OBITUARY: Buchanan, Willard Buck - Tuesday, August 31, 2010 Published in The Middletown Journal on 9/2/2010 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************* BUCHANAN, Willard Buck age 67 of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 4, 1943 in Wolfe County, Kentucky and moved to Middletown when he was 18 years of age. He owned and operated the Hillbilly Heaven for 10 years. He formerly owned the Ranch Inn and the Dutch Tavern. At one time he managed the service department for Curry Ford. He was a member of the Little Eagles Aerie #3458. Preceding him in death were his parents, William E. and Callie Bailey Buchanan; his wife, Dixie Buchanan in 2008; and one brother, Kenny Buchanan. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Sykes; one son, Chuck Buchanan and wife Christa; three grandchildren, Ashley Bull, Andrew Bull, and Brad Henry; one sister, Helen Back, husband Phil; and one brother, J.B. Buchanan, wife Karen. Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S.
