OBITUARY: Blevins, Mary Ellen (Banks) - Friday, July 23, 2010 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************* BLEVINS, Mary Ellen Banks of Carlisle passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 12, 1926 in Wolfe County, KY the daughter of Stanley and Cora Banks. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas in 1992; a son, Larry Blevins in 1999; three sisters, Maxine, Norma, and Marty; and three brothers, James, Lester, and Beech. Mary is survived by her children, Ramona (Steve) Lainhart, Gary "Tim" Blevins, and Rick (Joann) Blevins; a brother, Carl (Ginny) Banks; and a sister, Nancy (Bob) Jones. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jennifer Blevins Steele, Tracie (Billy) Rush, Brian Blevins, Kellie (Ryan) Morris, Julie Blevins, and Jaime Blevins; six great grandchildren, and a special friend, James Neeley. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Nate Helm at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin) Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt.
