OBITUARY: Bush, Edna (Booth) - Friday, February 26, 2010 Published in Lexington Herald-Leader on February 28, 2010 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************* BUSH Edna Booth, widow of Claude Everett (Gravy) Bush departed this life on Feb 26th, 2010. She was born in Fixer, KY on Aug 16, 1915, the fifth child born to the late George W. and Dixie Crabtree Booth and is survived by three sisters: Lula Begley, Mildred Evans, Betty Isaacs and one brother, Woodrow Booth. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She was the loving mother of three daughters: Jennie Murray (Rod) of Nashville, TN, Brenda Campbell (Bill) of Zachariah, KY and Dixie Bumgardner (Darrell) of Campton, KY. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren enriched and blessed her life. Edna was a member of the Zoe First Church of God and Lee County Homemaker's. Newnam Funeral Home, Beattyville, KY will be in charge of the arrangements. The funeral service will be on Mon, Mar 1, at 11am at Zoe First Church of God, Zoe, KY with Rev. James Combs officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Sun, Feb 28 from 5-7pm. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Shawn Campbell, Lafe Murray, Taylor Murray, Shannon Foster, Ryan Campbell and Sarah Bumgardner. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews, reflecting her belief in the importance of family.
