Feb. 20, 2010 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Campton, KY. on Feb. 16, 1923 to Burl Hanks Sr. and Elizabeth Adkins Hanks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 2002. She is survived by her son, Terry (Jo Ellen) Barnhart of Charleston, IL., a sister, Norma Fraley, Middletown, OH., a brother, Burl Hanks Jr. Gratis, OH., 2 grandchildren, Adrian Barnhart and Andrew Barnhart and 4 great grandchildren, Hallie, Ryan, Nick and Jacob, nieces and nephews. Also deceased were three sisters, Allene Miller, Juanita Kates and Effie Mae Kendel and a brother, Robert Hanks. A graveside service will be held 2:30 P.M. Thurs. Feb. 25, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH.
