Wolfe County Gallery of Honor

WOLFE COUNTY'S GALLERY OF HONOR

Since her formation in 1860, Wolfe County has answered the call of duty to help the nation fight for liberty and freedom throughout the world. Young and old men alike have left their families and Wolfe County farms since the days of the Civil War in the name of God, country, state and family. During the Civil War, Wolfe countians fought on both the Confederate and Union sides. Later generations fought in the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf War. Some of those that marched off from Wolfe County never returned alive. This page is dedicated to their valor and memory.
