Wesley LUCK, 82, died Friday afternoon at his home at Wrightburg. Survivors are the wife; two sons, John Wesley of St. Louis, Mo., and Charley of Evansville; one brother, Robert of Wrightburg. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, the Rev. J.E. HARTFORD of Slaughters officiating, assisted by the Rev. WHITMORE of Beech Grove and the Rev. J.R. RANDOLPH of Onton. Burial was in the Onton cemetery.

Sam K. LUTON, 75, former Providence resident, died Monday in a Detroit, Mich., hospital after a long illness. Mr. Luton
lived in Providence for a number of years and operated the Luton Hotel, now Morgan Hotel. He was for many years connected
with coal interests in this section and aided in the development and operation of several mines. He had been away from
Providence for the past eighteen years, and for nine years had lived in Detroit. Survivors are the wife, Betty; three sons,
Charlie, Sam, and Hunter Luton, of Miami, Fla.; two grandchildren; a brother, George Luton of Nashville, Tenn.; and a half-sister,
Mrs. Annie SANDEFUR of Shreveport, La. The body was brought here Wednesday night to the S.E. Montgomery and Son Funeral
Home, where funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. today, with the Rev. Benjamin CONNAWAY officiating. Burial was in

J.L. LUTZ, 84, retired carpenter whose home was in Dixon, died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hortense NISWONGER, in Nebo, after an illness of two months. Mr. Lutz, a former employee of Ruby Lumber Company, was a member of Dixon General Baptist Church, a deacon in the church and former Sunday School superintendent. He was married September 29, 1897 in Nebo to Miss Grady FIKE, who died two years ago. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Niswonger; a son, Raymond Lutz of Greensboro, N.C.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the General Baptist Church in Dixon, with the Rev. Charles POLLEY officiating, assisted by the Rev. Alva WILLIS and the Rev. Nealey PEARCY. Burial was in I.O.O.F. cemetery in Madisonville.

Sebree, Ky. - J.W. "Jay" LYKINS, 65, died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, Ill. He had Alzheimer's disease. He retired from Ashland Oil Co., where he was a pumper. Surviving are his wife, Sue; a daughter, Stephanie WHITEHUNDER of Henderson; a son, Tracy, of Sebree; four sisters, Virginia McCULLY of Robards, Brenda MARGELOT of Sebree, and Betty REYNOLDS and Arlene GRIGGS, both of Henderson; and two brothers, Jack of Madisonville and Raymond of Jacksonville, Fla. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thompkins & Son Sebree Chapel, with burial in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Evansville (IN) Courier, August 25, 1991.
D.W. LYNN, 80, retired Webster county rural school teacher, was burned
to death at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning when fire destroyed his home
and that of a neighbor in Sebree. He had been an invalid since
suffering a stroke of paralysis nine years ago. Mrs. Lynn was aroused
by the smoke and flames, but was unable to move her husband and ran
across the street for assistance. When she and neighbors returned the
flames had gained such headway that it was impossible to enter the
house. The fire spread to the adjoining home of T.M. ADAMS, which
except for the walls, was destroyed. Firemen were handicapped by a
frozen water hydrant. Surviving Mr. Lynn are the wife; two daughters,
Mrs. Bessie PHILLIPS, Evansville, and Mrs. Minnie GIBSON, Henderson;
ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services
were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Sebree Baptist church, with the Rev.
J. W. JOHNSTON in charge. Burial was in Springdale cemetery, Sebree.

Mrs. Ina LYNN, 77, of Dixon, mother of Miss Maybelle Lynn, Webster county tax commissioner, died at noon Wednesday in Kentucky Rest Haven in Madisonville, where she had been since early in October. She was the widow of the late Labe Lynn, who operated a grocery story in Dixon before his death a number of years ago. She was a member of Dixon Missionary Baptist church. Besides the daughter, survivors are a sister, Mrs. Jennie FEATHERSTON of Cincinnati, Ohio; a half-brother, Elmer BUCHANAN of Cincinnati, nieces and nephews. The body is at Tapp Funeral Home in Dixon. E.G. SISK and the Rev. Daniel HEITMEYER officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery, Dixon." Labe Lynn, 1874-1938, is buried next to Iva [sic] Lynn, 1878-1954, in Oak Grove Cemetery, Dixon.
Isaac F. LYNN, 67, died Sunday in his home in the Dalton section following an illness of several weeks. Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Lydia Lynn; a son, Isaac Marion Lynn, Dalton; and a daughter, Mrs. Martha HANKINS, Needmore, Ky. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Silent Run church, with the Rev. Rupert UTLEY, Madisonville, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Miss Mary L. LYNN, 91, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the home of a nephew, Arthur Lynn, near Dixon. A number of nieces and nephews are the only survivors. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Slover church, with the Rev. E.G. SISK of Diamond officiating. Burial was in Slover church cemetery. Peggy LYNN, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erskine Lynn, who live between Providence and Beulah, died at 11 a.m.
Sunday in Hopkins County Hospital in Madisonville. Survivors besides the parents, are a brother and sister, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherill CHILDERS, U.S. Highway 41, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lynn, Slover section. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Slover church with the Rev. Kermitt LOVELACE of White Plains officiating, and burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Mattie LYON, 73, Nebo, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in her home from
the effects of a paralytic stroke Friday. Mrs. Lyon, widow of Bud
Lyon, who died twenty-five years ago, was born December 3, 1869, the
daughter of John Wesley and Lena CROW, member of one of Hopkins
county's oldest families and had been a member of the Nebo Methodist
church for many years. Surviving are three brothers, Dr. A.T. Crow,
Manitou, John Crow, Nebo, and J.W. Crow, Nebo rfd 2. Funeral was
conducted in the home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Owen HOSKINSON
officiating. Burial was in Union cemetery, near Nebo. The
pallbearers were nephews, John Lee Crow, Cosby Crow, C.C. Crow, Victor
Crow, Sam Crow, Reuben Crow, Wesley Crow, and Davis Howard Crow.
