Whitley County Historical Genealogy Society/Museum
The Whitley County Historical
Genealogy Society & Museum was formed in 1996 by Carl Bird and Mary Rains-Creekmore. It is open to anyone who is interested in preserving Whitley County history. We are a non-profit organization and are dedicated to preserving the history and records of our County. Our meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at the society building which is located in the old L & N Railroad Depot at 529 Main Street Williamsburg, Ky. Everyone is invited to attend. |
Members are available at
the Depot each Wednesday from 10am to 1pm and
the first and last Saturday of the month from 10 to 12.

Annual dues are $15.00 per year and along with your dues send us a list of the surnames you are researching and please include your email address along with your mailing address. Pedigree charts and family group sheets are welcome and should be mailed to:

Members recieve Whitley Branches, our quarterly newsletter. All queries will be posted in the newsletter.
