I am
a descendant of Benjamin Quinn and his wife, Frankey Vernon. Their daughter,
Sally, married Jacob Ward. Their daughter Mildred married John Bagby.
I am very interested in learning why eight members of the Quinn
family died in Scott County, Kentucky. Was there an epidemic or a
catastrophe in the county at that time? Also, John Bagby was in the
War of 1812 from Scott County and was still in Scott around 1814, when he
was 21 years of age. Does anyone know his parentage. I have a lot of
information regarding the above families, but need information for your
area.

I have
a piece of paper that has on one side "J. Eugene Barnes, Sec'y KY State Grange,
Georgetown, KY". In the blank space on the other side has "Family Record".
Then it list the following Johnson's; Wm., Arthur, Mary Angeline, Earnest
Ullmon, Viola Josephine, Hattie, Sinclair, Charles Franklin, John M. Hortan
(Harlan), Attie Cordelia, Jefferson Elbert, Girtie. They were born
between 1860-1880. I believe they are the children of William Johnson,
son of James T. Johnson. This was in my grandmother's things and she
was the daughter of Jefferson Johnson, the son of James
T.
