Capt. Pope of the Virginia Line in the army of the United States during the
Revolutionary War.
On 24
Oct 1818, Alexander Atkins appeared in Scott County Court, he stated he was
honorably discharged in 1780 in Fradericksburg,
Larkin
Fargeson also appeared and made oath that he & Atkins were both soldiers
in the Revolutionary War in Capt Pope's Company Capt. Johnson of Great Crossings mad affidavit concerning pension.
