Way back in the hills of Southeastern Kentucky,
There's a name that is known and respected by all.
It's the good name of "Combs", and we're mighty lucky
for without them there'd be no Kentucky at all.

They've helped make our State a good place to live in.
By teaching our children to know right from wrong.
No one can deny their great contribution.
The family of "Combs" does truly belong.

This world has its wealth, its gold and its silver,
Its beautiful mansions, its beautiful homes.
But here in the hills of Southeastern Kentucky,
We have our good friends, the family of "Combs".
