The descendants of Edith and Logan Combs of Acup Creek will be having a Combs Family Reunion the second Saturday in August 2010 exact location to be announed, If Cousin Aster Combs gets his picnic shelter finished it will be near the Old Home Place at Acup Creek, if he doesn't get his picnic shelter built the Combs Family Reunion will be at R.W. Combs School at Happy, Kentucky. Any Combs that would like to attend this event is welcome. there will be plenty of food and drinks provided by Debbie and Mabel Combs who actually enjoy preparing this feast of traditional food: Shuckie beans, sweet corn, potato salad, cole slaw, new potatoes, green beans Ham fried chicken, and a great variety of deserts. Everbody attending gives a minium donation of $10 to help with the food and other expenses and participate in the silent auction. This event goes back to the traditional Family Reunion We all get together eat and greet and have a great time.
