The Kentucky Death
Records database is extremely case sensitive. Upon clicking the link above a page will appear with an ad. Look to lower right hand corner and click on the Search button. It will bring up a form page to enter your information of who you want to find. You may find your person under their name alone. However, if you need to look up a
death, try different aliases that might have been used as in nicknames, middle
names, etc. If you need to look up by county as in Oldham, it is spelled out sometimes, yet at other times it is abbreviated as Oldhm, depending upon who entered the information when the birth occurred. Be sure and try changing spelling of the county if you cannot find your person. The large form with several sub category searches makes it fairly easy to find anyone you need...even if you don't have all the pertinent info on them. Due to the large number of people using this database, you will sometimes find it moves rather slowly. Be patient...you will find who you want! |
