OIL AND GAS LEASE

Entered into on July 13, 1917 between William Robbins and Susanna Robbins, his wife, of Mima, KY (Lessor) and George McNabb and C.C. Simmons (Lessee).

For consideration of $1.00 allows Lessee to use their property for mining for oil and gas, laying pipe, and building tanks, power stations and structures thereon to produce said products. The tract of land is situated in the County of Morgan, State of Kentucky, on the waters of Smith Creek of Paint Creek, bounded and describes as follows: On the North by the lands of G.W. Blanton On the East by the lands of Ellen Dulen (note: Ellen is sister of Susanna Robbins/Doolin) On the South by the lands of Ellen Dulen On the West by the lands of Ora A. Holbrook containing 28 acres, more or less, and hereby releasing and waiving all right under and by virtue of the Homestead Exemption Laws of this State in and to said land. The lease was for five years and they were to receive $200.00 each year for the gas from each well where gas is found. If no well is commenced by July 13, 1918 they were to pay William $7.00 for the privilege of deferring the commencement of the well for another six months.

Funds were to be deposited to William's account at Paintsville National Bank of Paintsville, KY.
