PUBLICATIONS READY!

Prologue of the Howards of Eastern Kentucky
This book is 345 pages and is eleven years of research by Bob Whittaker and Jesse Buckwalter. The research was done in libraries, archives and historical/genealogical societies in Georgia, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia. The book includes documentation and annotation of sources. Where conclusions were made from overwhelming evidence, the evidence is provided. Little was known about the Eastern Kentucky Howard ancestry, therefore speculation began and over time this became fact. A section of the book is "What was not found" and addresses the unproven Howard ancestry. This book picks up from the 1985 HOWARDS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY published by the MCHS and traces the Howard ancestors back to the original immigrant Matthew Howard, Gentleman of Virginia.

You're sure to find his columns enjoyable and full of ancestral information.
