Brandenburg, KY cir 1901

Thought I would send a copy of a postcard that I found recently after a visit to Dorothy Mann Tillery of Wichita, KS.  The postmark is 1901 and was written by Carrie J. Cox to her Aunt, Lucy J. Collier, living with the Mann Family in Kingman, KS.  Dorothy remembers that her family received a small dog when she was a little girl (she is now 84 years old) and remembers the crate bore a distinctive stamp of "Brandenburg, Ky."  Apparently, the poor little dog died of stress shortly after he/she was delivered to the Mann Family Farm.
