Transcriber Notes
The Johnson cemetery is located on land that was owned by John Johnson in the 1800's. He came to Kentucky from Virginia in the early 1800's. He bought hundreds of acres of land along Doe Run Creek and built a textile mill, five stories high with walls of stone. I never found the graves of him or his wife 35 years ago, and there was fewer stones two years ago. The Pack baby was my aunt, Edna Givans my great aunt, Margaret C. Benham my great grandmother, James W. & Mary Ann Fowler my great great grandparents.
