Jan. 1999 YOUNG, Virginia Rose , 77, of La Grange, died at her home on Sunday, Jan. 31,1999. She was a native of Madison County, a retired care taker and a member of First Christian Church in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Taylor Young, and a son, Hugh Taylor Young. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Young Halloway of La Grange; and two grandchildren, Chandra Emerson of Cynthiana and Stephanie Bailey of Louisville. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with burial in Richmond Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Robert Stauffer officiated at the services. |
