Mary
Cosima Stidham, 83, of Richmond, widow of Charles B. Stidham, Jr., died Sunday,
August 24, 2003. She was born July 28, 1920 in Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter
of the late Joseph and Mary Rose Caruso Papania. Mrs. Stidham was a member of
The Church at Athens and adored spending time with her grandchildren,
neighborhood children, nieces and nephews. She is survived by one daughter and
son-in-law, Marylee Stidham (Phillip) Bridges of London, Kentucky; three sons
and two daughters-in-law, Charles B. and Sherrie Stidham, III of Sadieville,
Kentucky, Joseph P. and Alice Stidham of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Jack
Stidham of Richmond, Kentucky; four grandchildren, William Stidham, Jody
Stidham, Caroline Stidham and Ramona Reed and four great-grandchildren and two
dear nephew's, Rick Spagnuolo and Bill Evans. There will be a memorial service
on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. at The Church at Athens, with William E. Ransford
officiating. Private inurnment services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
