Anne Harper Stephenson, 61, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 from complications of ALS. She was born in Beckley, WV, March 26, 1942, to Ernest and Effie Harper, both deceased. She moved to Berea in 1958.

She is survived by her husband, John, a son, Barry, Paducah, KY, a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Robinson, Conyers, GA, two wonderful grandsons, Ty and Brent Robinson. Also a sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Don Buchanan, Berea, a sister-in-law, Jan Hamilton. Three nieces, Rosemary Buchanan Briggs (Kevin), Robin Hamilton Devere, Karen Hamilton Reed, two nephews, Scott (Courtney) Buchanan and Stuart (Kyle) Hamilton also survive, along with their children, Brian Briggs, Conner and Hunter Buchanan, Lindsey and Patrick Hamilton, Rachel Devere, Adria Dowd and Christopher Reed.

Mrs. Stephenson was a member of Union Church for forty years.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held at Union Church Friday, March 12, 2004 at 4:00 p.m.
